Honestly did not believe the small number of All 5 star reviews on here, but I can now say that it is all correct, this is one of the best fish and chips in Perth at this price/level. Overall 9/10 given the price. Good thin light batter, oil is of good quality, no more oil than is necessary for deep fried food. Overall taste is "classic" but good quality. Inside fish, squid, etc all of good quality, not dry or rubbery. Salt level for me is perfect. Cardboard packaging is good quality and strong, not cheap and flimsy. Service/cooking speed is good/reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

BEST Fish n Chips in a 5 kilometre range And I have tried them All. Louis the owner worked previously for pescado seafood then bought the business himself and is doing a fantastic Job! Honestly the fish, chips dim sims and pineapple fritters are Fantastic. I always ask for the best fish he has and he never let's me down I'm No Millionaire but I am happy to pay a bit more for FRESH SNAPPER he gets in weekly. keep up the Good Work Louis BLOODY BEAUTIFUL...

Last week the boys n girls got together to watch the footy and someone said instead of a bucket of chook let's get fish n chips Well let me say kudos to the people at eastgate fish n chips TBH ive driven past the shopping centre on the corner of kooyong road and the great east highway in rivervale 100 times but didnt know there was a fantastic Chippo hidden in there. We got Heaps...shark prawns crab sticks dim sims about 10 bucks of chips I reckon, and because it was Big Kev's birthday that's me I sprung for the bill and it wasnt painful at All. we fed 9 people oh and Jonno got a fish and hamburger and a 2 litre coke and let rip with the biggest black gas BURP ever heard nearly caused an earthquake, and guess what we were hi fives all round when Our beloved Dockers Pissed In But we all want to say hats off to Eastgate fish n chippo You Rock***** 5 Star Tucker Bro

Whenever My wife and I come down from the Pilbara we stay at the motel on great eastern hwy and get fish n chips from this shop, we reckon this fish n chip shop is a bit of hidden gem every time the wife and I and the 4 kids get our tucker here the kids are fighting over the prawns and the dim sims and the wife and I love the fresh fish its cooked just right not to oily and we recommend if you are looking for good fish n chips give this eastgate fish n chips a go we havent copped a bad meal yet so 5 stars to the mob down there Cheers Eddie
